(GSM) – Two own goals cancelled out two other goals for Olympiakos on Saturday as they settled for a 2-2 draw at home against strugglers PAS Giannina.

The visitors took the lead in fortunate circumstances when Avram Papadopoulos put into his own net in the 37th minute, but they did pull level through red-hot Matt Derbyshire five minutes before the break.

It appeared Olympiakos would cruise when they took a 2-1 lead before half-time as Lomana Tresor LuaLua hit the back of the net, but another own goal broke their hearts in the second half.

Eight minutes after the restart, veteran Swedish defender Olof Mellberg deflected the ball past his own keeper to pull PAS level, when the visitors showed no true signs of grabbing one of their own.

The draw leaves Olympiakos four points back of leaders Panathinaikos while PAS are ever-so-slightly out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
