Oxford United drew 1-1 away to Plymouth Argyle in the Championship on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to five league games under Gary Rowett.
The U’s went ahead in the 44th minute through a wonderful Will Vaulks strike from outside the penalty area, despite the home side having had the better chances.
Rami Al Hajj twice went close for Argyle in the opening 15 minutes of new manager Miron Muslic’s first game in charge.
A goal down at the break, the hosts responded well in the second half as Al Hajj finally nodded in his goal from debutant Tymoteusz Puchacz’s cross.
Although Oxford’s Siriki Dembele twice went close in stoppage time, Plymouth held on for a valuable point.

Elsewhere, Watford ended their four-match losing run in all competitions as Vakoun Bayo scored an 87th-minute equaliser to bail them out away to struggling Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds had been slightly the better side in a game of few chances when Cian Ashford put them ahead in the 65th minute with a composed finish.
Tom Cleverley’s visitors rarely threatened even after Ashford’s goal, but managed to rescue a point by converting their first shot on target.
Cardiff at least climbed out of the relegation zone with a point but remain only three ahead of bottom side Plymouth.
