Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to return to the pitch today (Friday) having missed 11 months through injury.
The former Arsenal man did horrible damage to his knee ligaments in last season’s Champions League semifinal against AS Roma with a tackle on Aleksandar Kolarov, back in April 2018.
Today, he has been named in the starting line-up for Liverpool’s U-23 team when they face Derby County, but he is expected to play only 45 minutes.
