Manchester City could be set to make a summer move for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Independent.
Incoming manager Pep Guardiola was initially impressed with the England international after his performance in the Gunners’ 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich last summer and could lodge a bid in the close season.
The twenty-two year old’s next appearance for Arsene Wenger’s side will be his one hundred and fiftieth in all competitions since he signed from Southampton in August 2011, while he has scored fourteen goals.
He was part of the squads that won back-to-back FA Cups while he has been capped twenty-four times for his country, scoring five times, and was part of the squads that attended the 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Arsenal booked their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup after beating Hull City 4-0 in their fifth round replay, and can now be backed at 9/4 to win the competition.
