Ozil linked with Fenerbache switch

Mesut Ozil has been linked with a shock move to Fenerbache, according to the Daily Star.

Reports are suggesting that there has been a fallout between the Germany international and Gunners boss Unai Emery, who replaced Arsene Wenger in the summer.

Ozil only signed a new contract with the North London club in January though he could be set to leave the club when the transfer window reopens.

The former Real Madrid man had a tough summer with Germany crashing out of the World Cup at the group stages while on a personal level he was criticised for posing for a photograph with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, though he insisted it was not political statement.

His next appearance for Arsenal will be his two hundredth in all competitions while during his time with the club he has scored thirty-seven goals and won the FA Cup three times.
