Ozil may retire at Arsenal

As reported by Evening Standard, Mesut Ozil recently confirmed that he may finish his career at the Emirates. The former Germany international has been a bit hot and cold throughout the last 12 months of his career, but when he’s playing at the top of his game, there are very few defenders in the world that can stop him.

Ozil has enjoyed some more success to kick off the Premier League campaign with Arsenal, with many pinpointing him as a key talisman in their race to break into the top four.

Either way it feels like we’ll continue to hear about various different forms of speculation over the 30 year old’s future for many weeks and months to come, especially given how well Arsenal have been playing recently.

Arsenal will return to action against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night after playing out a dull 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon last night.
