Ozil prepares to leave Arsenal

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil still believes he will be able to secure a move to another top club.

This is despite the fact that he has been frozen out at the Emirates to the point where Mikel Arteta doesn’t appear to have any clear plans for him moving forward. The former German international hasn’t been able to showcase his abilities for quite some time now and he’s unlikely to leave before the summer transfer window, but that doesn’t mean he can’t start looking ahead.

Arsenal currently find themselves down in 15th place in the Premier League table and while many believe they won’t stay there for very long, it does appear as if it’s going to take some time for them to really develop an identity under Arteta.

Either way, Ozil isn’t planning on being part of the furniture in North London for too much longer.
