(GSM) – One goal in the opening minutes was enough for Pachuca to beat Toluca on away goals and advance to the final of the CONCACAF Champions League.
The match at Pachuca’s Miguel Hidalgo stadium had been underway only six minutes when Edy Brambila scored what turned out to be the only goal.
In the second half, Toluca did try to get back into the game but the best chance was for Pachuca who ended up hitting the post.
Toluca won the first match 2-1 but Wednesday’s result allows Pachuca to advance on away goals. In the final, they face Cruz Azul who beat Pumas UNAM 5-1 on aggregate in the other semi final tie.
