Crystal Palace are closing in on the double signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Tottenham Hotspur and Frazier Campbell from Cardiff City, according to Sky Sports.
Eagles manager Tony Pulis, who’s side thrashed Austrian outfit Grazer AK 13-1 on Wednesday, is keen on strengthening his squad as he looks to improve on last season’s eleventh place finish.
Sigurdsson made just fourteen starts in the Premier League last season though he did notch up thirty-five appearances in all competitions in total, scoring six times.
Campbell grabbed nine goals for the Bluebirds last season – his best return in six seasons – though he was unable to help the club drop back down to the Championship after just one season in the top flight.
Palace have also been linked with a move for England international defender Steven Caulker, but they face stiff competition from Queens Park Rangers and Southampton in the race to secure his services.
