The Mirror understands that Christian Benteke has agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace.
The Eagles are still negotiating a transfer fee with Liverpool, who themselves only signed the Belgium international from Aston Villa twelve months ago.
He racked up forty-two appearances for the Merseyside outfit in all competitions last season, scoring ten goals though he started only fourteen league games.
In three seasons with Aston Villa, he played one hundred and one times, scoring forty-nine goals while most recently he has been with his country at the European Championships.
The twenty-five year old played four times at the tournament but was unable to stop his side from crashing out at the quarter finals stage, when they lost to Wales.
Should Alan Pardew’s side finalise the deal, Benteke will be the fourth new arrival at Selhurst Park following the arrivals of goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, defender James Tomkins and winger Andros Townsend.
