Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is planning an ambitious move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba, according to the Mirror.
With his side currently sitting in the relegation zone, the recently appointed former Stoke City boss is keen to bring in more firepower this month as he plans to guide the Eagles to Premier League safety for the first time since the league’s inception.
With just thirteen goals, no side in the division has scored fewer than Palace, with Morocco international Marouane Chamakh contributing the most with just four.
Ba is a proven striker at this level, but has struggled to impress in limited opportunities under Jose Mourinho.
The Senegal international, who has also played for West Ham United and Newcastle United in the English top flight, has scored just once in eight league appearances for the Blues so far this season, with a further two goals coming in the Champions League.
