Palace turn down Everton bid for Bolasie

The Guardian understands that Everton have had a bid for Yannick Bolasie turned down by Crystal Palace.

The Merseyside outfit had lodged an £18m offer for the DR Congo international though the Eagles are holding out for £30m, who has been one of the club’s stand out performers over the past couple of seasons.

The twenty-seven year old, who has previously been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur played thirty times for Alan Pardew’s side last season, scoring six goals with his last outing for them coming at Wembley, where he couldn’t help his team avoid defeat to Manchester United in final of the FA Cup.

In total, he has made one hundred and forty-three appearances in all competitions since signing from Bristol City in the summer of 2012, scoring thirteen goals.

The France-born winger has also been capped twenty-seven times for DR Congo, scoring seven times.
