Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche has revealed that Javier Pastore could soon move to Chelsea.
The Argentine midfielder has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs this summer and Palermo recently revealed that an unnamed club had made a €45 million offer for his services.
Palermo vice-president has now confirmed that the player could complete a move to Chelsea.
“It’s very probable that Pastore will go to Chelsea, but I think there are other top-level teams who are after the player,” Micciche told Radio Sportiva.
“He wants a big club and there are advanced talks with very important teams. His agent is working very well, and if someone pays the right money then we will be happy to sell him. If not, we will keep him.”
Micciche added that Palermo would only settle for a cash deal.
“Let it be clear, we do not want any players as part of the deal.”
