Chievo defender Andrea Mantovani has revealed Palermo are keen on signing him this summer.
The 25-year-old impressed for Chievo last season and has recently been linked with a move away from the club.
“It is nice to hear that a side like Palermo are speaking about me,” Mantovani stated to Palermo24.net.
“They are a big side, and it honours me.
“But there is a difference between having an interest and beginning transfer discussions.
“Currently, I am on holidays, and have not heard from anyone. The only person I hear from is my agent, who mentions rumours to me.
“He has also told me that he has spoken with another Italian side.”
