Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admits they are looking to strengthen their team in January.
Zamparini also commented on Fabio Simplicio’s contract situation. Simplicio joined the club in June 2006 from Parma for 5.5 million euros.
“Surely the player I saw in the past months would deserve ten renewals and not just one,” explained Zamparini.
“However, at times Simplicio does not manage to play well with continuity and alternates very good performances to absolutely disappointing games.
“For January we are searching for certain types of players, who manage to unite character to technique.
“Without doubt if we shall go on the market, we shall do so only and exclusively to improve the quality of our group.”
