Palermo have revealed that they have bought 50 percent share in Inter keeper Emiliano Viviano.
The keeper joined Inter in the summer, but failed to make a single appearance for the Neroazzurri after suffering a knee ligament injury.
The 26-year-old was set to move to Genoa, but Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini reveals that the Rosanero managed to buy the 50 percent of the player’s rights instead.
“Genoa wanted €5m for their half of the player and we gave them that,” Zamparini told Radio Radio Palermo.
“In three or four years Viviano will play for Inter, but he is the goalkeeper that we were missing and I hope he stays with us for a while.”
Viviano is nearing full fitness after recovering from a serious injury and he is expected to be a number one keeper at Renzo Barbera.
