Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed the club will sell star striker Paulo Dybala when the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
Dybala, 21, has been the subject of reported interest from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris-Saint Germain in recent weeks.
The former Instituto ACC starlet is out of a contract following the 2015/16 season, and had reached an agreement on a three-year contract worth €9 million per season, but the deal ultimately fell through.
“I will sell him, I am almost certain of this,” Zamparini told Tuttosport. “[Juventus general director Giuseppe] Marotta told me that they are very interested in the player.
“They [Juventus] are ready to negotiate. I have warned Marotta already that I’ve had so many offers for Dybala from half of the teams in Europe. Chelsea, PSG and other English and Spanish clubs.”
Zamparini added: “We had an agreement with Dybala for €9 million [per season] but the next day everything changed.
“I was told that Dybala would no longer sign and that he now wanted up to €15 million in wages. No way!”
Zamparini went on to blame Dybala’s entourage for giving him a false sense of reality.
“This is the fault of those that surround him,” said the Palermo supremo. “They have made him lose all sense of reality.
“I had treated him like a son having spent €12 million to acquire him. I will not speak to Dybala again. I will appoint a company to negotiate Dybala’s sale.”
Dybala has tallied 11 goals and six assists in 22 Serie A appearances for the Rosanero this season.
Dani Osvaldo to join Boca Juniors
Out-of-favour Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo is set to join Argentine giants Boca Juniors on loan for the rest of the season.
“It’s the biggest dream of my life,” Osvaldo said. “I’m very happy, very nervous about all this… I haven’t signed yet so I’m not saying anything for now.
“I know full well what it means to wear the Boca shirt. I have faith that everything will work out well.”
The Italy international, 29, left Buenos Aires for Bergamo, where he played at Atalanta for just season before moving on to Lecce, Fiorentina, Bologna, Espanyol, and Roma.
In August 2013, Osvaldo signed for Southampton in a deal worth €15.1 million.
The 29-year-old scored three goals in 13 English Premier League appearances in 2013/14 before being loaned out to Juventus in January 2014.
Osvaldo spent the first half of this season on loan at Internazionale.
