(GSM) – Palermo’s Simon Kjaer has rejected claims he could be moving to England insisting that he is happy to stay in Italy. Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign the Danish center-back.

However Kjaer has snubbed a future move away from the Rosanero. He said that he has heard of interest from both the Red Devils and Serie A giants Juventus but claims he is happy to stay put and does not wish to be a “fourth or fifth choice” player.

“Manchester United and Juventus? I’m flattered but I love Palermo,” he told Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport.

“Here I’m fine, I like the city, the people, the way in which we live.

“I live in Mondello, the sea is wonderful, my girlfriend would not move from here.

“Also I have no intention of going to a team that consider me the fourth or fifth choice.”
