(GSM) – Panathinaikos remain close to Greek league leaders Olympiakos after a 1-4 win at Ergotelis, while Aris beat PAOK 0-1 to jump to third place.
‘Pana’ were much too strong for Ergotelis in the opening half. By the end of the first 45 minutes, goals from Nikolaos Spiropoulos and Djibril Cisse (2) had already given the guests a 0-3 lead.
Mario Buntimyr did something back for the home side in the 55th minute but a 78th-minute goal from Kostas Katsouranis restored the three-goal gap, 1-4.
Aris played away to PAOK, where a 75th-minute goal from Javito was enough to secure a small victory. PAOK’s Bruno Cirillo was sent off in the dying seconds.
