(GSM) – There were no major surprises in the Greek Super League on Saturday as both leaders Panathinaikos and third-placed PAOK won their games.
Panathinaikos, who took considerable distance from the rest of the Super League in recent weeks, were particularly inspired by Frenchman Djibril Cisse who scored both goals against Xanthi, in the 27th and 89th minutes.
Dimitrios Souanis gave home fans a little reason to celebrate, pulling back a goal in the 90th minute.
PAOK defended their third place and put pressure on Olympiakos with a 0-2 win at Levadiakos. Vladimir Ivic and Lino found the target for the visiting side.
