(GSM) – Panathinaikos remain on course to win the Greek double. In the domestic Cup, the Athens outfit beat PAS Giannina 3-1 in the first leg of their semi final tie.

An own goal from Ilias Kotsios put Panathinaikos in the lead on 14 minutes and Sotiris Ninis doubled the advantage shortly before the break.

When French striker Djibril Cisse made it 3-0 in the 85th minute, fans knew that a spot in the final was close.

PAS did bring back some tension for the second leg though, as Georgios Kousas pulled one back in the last minute.

The return leg is scheduled to be played on March 31. This Thursday, Aris defend a 3-1 lead in their semi final second leg against Kavala.
