French striker Fabrice Pancrate signed for Championship highflyers Newcastle on Sunday on a free transfer on a two-and-a-half year contract, his former club Paris Saint Germain announced.
Among other clubs the 29-year-old – who played for PSG from 2004-09 before being released in June this year – also had spells with Le Mans, Sochaux and Spanish side Real Betis, for half a season.
Pancrate scored 16 goals in 155 matches in French football.
