(GSM) – Panathinaikos maintained a six-point edge atop the Greek Super League on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Iraklis. Olympiakos were also 2-0 winners over Panthrakikos while PAOK edged Kavala, 1-0.

Djibril Cissé put Pana in front inside the opening minute with his league-leading 23rd goal of the season, stunning Iraklis.

Then, just before the stroke of half-time, it was 2-0 when Sotiris Ninis doubled the advantage and sealed the win for Panthinaikos.

In Komotini, Olympiakos jumped out to a lead in the 11th minute when Vassilis Torosidis fired them in front in the 11th minute.

Kostas Mitroglou followed that up in the 29th minute when he scored Olympiakos’ second – all they would need on this day.

For PAOK, they needed just a solitary goal – from Zlatan Muslimovic just before half-time – to edge their way past Kavala.
