The World Youth Championship Group A match between Paraguay and Italy ended in a slightly disappointing goalless draw.
A lot was expected from the second match of the tournament, played at Cairo’s International Stadium in Egypt.
Neither side managed to make a real differing under the burning sun however. If any side dominated, it was Paraguay to create more opportunities and dominate possession.
Hosts Egypt lead this group after Thursday’s 4-1 win over Trinidad and Tobago. Italy and Paraguay share second place.
The next matches in Group A are scheduled for Monday, when Italy face Trinidad and Tobago while Egypt take on Paraguay.
