Paraguay coach Gerardo Martino will be banned from the touchline for his team’s Copa America match against Venezuela on Wednesday.
Martino, 48, argued furiously with officials after Brazil’s last-minute equaliser in Saturday’s Group B clash against Paraguay.
Colombian referee Wilmar Roldan sent Martino to the stands, with the clash ending in a 2-2 draw.
A disciplinary commission for CONMEBOL – South America’s football governing body – handed down the ban after reviewing the incident.
Paraguay are third in Group B with two points, level with second-placed Brazil and two points in arrears of Venezuela.
