Paris Saint-Germain 1/2 to win against OGC Nice tonight in the French Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain travel to the Allianz Riviera to face OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1 tonight, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to extend their lead at the summit. Laurent Blanc’s men have dominated the division this season, and have been as strong away from home than they have at the Parc des Princes, so Nice will be very wary of their threat ahead of this evening’s outing.

Nice are no slouches, however, with the side currently fifth in the Ligue 1 table this campaign. Their recent form hasn’t been too shabby either, winning two and drawing one of their last four games in the league, but their achilles heel has been playing at home. Nice have been very inconsistent at the Allianz Riviera, winning only twice in their last five games in their own backyard.

Nevertheless, victory for Nice could see them finish the evening third in the league, and only one point off second-placed Caen. However, beating PSGis easier said than done given the defending championship are still yet to lose a league game this season let alone drop many points 16 matches into the campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain are top of the table, 13 points clear of the chasing pack. They have won 13 and drawn three of their 16 games played, and boast the best defensive record to boot. Hard to beat and hard to score against, the Parisians are also the top scorers in the division, and look on course to win the title early as things stand.

Blanc’s men have been equally as impressive on the road, winning five and drawing two of their seven away games, so Nice could suffer a fourth home defeat in eight outings. PSG have only conceded two goals from their last five games in the league, and could go 16 points clear at the top with a win over Nice.
