Paris Saint-Germain 1/5 to win this season’s French Ligue 1 title

Paris Saint-Germain returned to the top of the Ligue 1 table following a win against Lens on the weekend. The two-time winners still have the likes of Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseilles, and even AS Monaco breathing down their neck at the top in the business end to the season.

They have struggled for form in parts this campaign, but are slowly starting to gain some momentum at the perfect time, with five wins and three draws from their last eight league games. PSG have only lost two games in Ligue 1 all season, and unsurprisingly boast one of the best defensive records in the division.

With 10 games to go, only one side looks capable of going all the way in the title race. The Parisians haven’t had it all their own way this season, but they’ve won the crown in back-to-back seasons prior to 2014/15, and the experience has certainly helped them in over coming a previous points deficit.

Betfair are giving odds of 1/5 for PSG to win the French Ligue 1 title this season, which would be their third consecutive league crown should they go all the way.
