French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have all but agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian sensation Wendel, Globo Esporte has reported.
Fluminense starlet’s legal representatives have spent the last couple of days in France where they negotiated a January transfer for the 19-year-old talent who is regarded as one of Brazilian football’s most highly rated prospects.
Their visit to Paris comes days after French emissaries flew over to Brazil to meet up with Wendel and his family, according to reports.
Having reached a verbal agreement with the club during the summer transfer window, the French giants have now made concrete steps to materialise the transfer.
Reports have it that a deal between Fluminense and Paris Saint-Germain worth €10 million is set to be announced over the next couple of days.
Wendel is under contract with the Brazilian powerhouse that runs until December 2020 with the Tricolor holding 90% of his economic rights.
