Paris Saint Germain eye Eriksen swoop

Paris Saint Germain are lining up a £100m bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to the Express.

The French champions are ready to swoop for the former Ajax man, who has two years remaining on his current deal though unlike several of his teammates is yet to pen a new deal.

The twenty-six-year old moved to the North London club in the summer of 2013 and he has since racked up two hundred and twenty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring fifty-six goals.

He was named the club’s Player of the Season in both 2014 and 2017 and was also named the Danish Player of the Year in both of those campaigns.

He was part of the Denmark squad that went to this summer’s World Cup in Russia and netted his twenty-third international goal in a 1-1 draw with Australia in the group stage of the competition back in June.
