Paris Saint Germain are eyeing an ambitious move for Manchester United winger Alexis Sanchez, according to the Express.
The twenty-nine-year old moved to Old Trafford back in January but has failed to reproduce his best form scoring just four goals in twenty-six appearances in all competitions.
The player has struggled to find a settled place in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven and could already be heading for the exit-door should someone be willing to match his £500,000-per-week wages.
PSG believe they could sign the player on a free transfer in a hope that United would be willing to merely cut their losses.
Sanhez scored the winning goal as the Red Devils came from behind to beat Newcastle United earlier this month while he was an unused substitute in Sunday afternoon’s win over Everton.
They were the club’s only victories in their last eight victories in all competitions, and next up is a trip to in-form Bournemouth.
