French champions Paris Saint-Germain are looking at Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter, according to L’Equipe.
The Saints plan to sign a replacement for David Luiz, who joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day and the German stopper is one of the players on their wish list.
L’Equipe claims that PSG scouts have watched Ginter several times this season and they could step up their interest in the youngster ahead of the January transfer window.
Matthias Ginter hasn’t quite managed to establish himself as a regular starter at Signal-Iduna Park, but he did well to make 41 Bundesliga appearances since joining from Freiburg.
We have previously informed you that PSG are also hot on the trail of AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger and it looks as though one of two German defenders will end up at Parc des Princes.
The Saints did not have the best of starts to the new league campaign, but they are available at 1/4 to see off Bordeaux this weekend.
