PSG keen on Vagner Love
Paris Saint-Germain are pondering a January bid for CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love, L’Equipe reports.
Despite heavy summer spending, the Saints currently sit tied on points with Montpellier at the top of French Ligue 1 and they are eager to keep the title bid alive by signing few more quality players in January.
Signing a new striker remains the priority and latest reports suggest that the French giants are showing interest in CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love.
According to L’Equipe, PSG sporting director Leonardo is a keen admirer of the Brazilian and he is looking to test CSKA’s resolve with an official bid in January.
Vagner Love has three years left on his contract with Army Men, but he is likely to be available for sale in January.
The 27-year-old wants a new challenge after spending six years in Moscow and CSKA chiefs are willing to negotiate his sale in January.
Juventus chief plays down Krasic exit talk
Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has moved to deny reports that Milos Krasic has asked to be allowed to leave the club.
The Serbian winger has lost his place in the starting line-up and he didn’t even make the bench in the last few games.
That led to speculations linking him with a January exit, with his agent recently stating that Krasic would leave if the situation didn’t improve.
However, Giuseppe Marotta says that Krasic hasn’t informed him of his desire to leave the club.
“The agent’s comments were pretty strong, but I haven’t spoken with him,” Marotta told reporters.
“We have spoken with Milos though and there’s no problem from his side.
“He is not in the first-team at the moment, but that is because his team-mates are in better form. That doesn’t mean that there’s a problem, though.
“We are willing to listen to anyone who’s unhappy when the market re-opens, but we don’t know of anyone who wants to leave.”
Milos Krasic has a contract with Juventus until June 2014, but it looks as though he could leave the club this winter.
Inter hotshot cools off transfer talk
Inter midfielder Philippe Coutinho has rejected speculations linking him with a move to Liverpool.
The Brazilian has been struggling to get some playing time at Giuseppe Meazza, and was subsequently linked with a move to Liverpool.
The 19-year-old reveals that he is not worried by the lack of playing time at Meazza.
“I am grateful to Benitez, he has given me a new positions and many chances,” Coutinho told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“Ranieri is telling me to remain tranquil and to do during the game the same things I do while I am training.”
The youngster says that he is not concerned by the transfer talk surrounding him.
“The transfer rumours? I can’t decide the future by myself. If it was up to me I would remain forever at Inter.”
