Spanish media outlet Don Balon has reported that French Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain have offered a whopping €44 million for Real Madrid No.1 Keylor Navas, thus forcing Real Madrid to reignite Gianluigi Donnarumma interest.
The Italian 18-year-old goalkeeper initially turned down a new contract with his club AC Milan and was called a mercenary by Rossoneri fans who even threw fake dollar bills at the goalkeeper at the Under-21 European Championship in Poland.
The Italian reportedly had a change of heart and decided to stay with AC Milan and accept a five-year offer from his club, but with PSG stepping up pursuit of Navas with a lucrative offer, Real Madrid are now believed to be contemplating a concrete offer for the young goalkeeper.
As things stand right now, Donnarumma will be a free agent next summer and would in theory be available for as low as €20 million given his expiring contract.
Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola could play a major part in any potential deal with the La Liga and Champions League winners.
