Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that defending Ligue 1 champions PSG have enquired about the availability of Barella with a view to taking a move at the end of the season.
Barella has made 27 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter so far this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists in the process. The 26-year-old Italian attacking midfielder has also scored two goals in eight UEFA Champions League games for the former Serie A champions so far this campaign.
PSG are at the top of the Ligue 1 table at the moment with 72 points from 31 matches, as many as eight points clear of second-placed and bitter rivals Marseille. Meanwhile, Inter currently find themselves fifth in the Serie A standings with 51 points from 30 games, two points behind fourth-placed, defending champions and city rivals AC Milan.
