Monaco striker Park Chu-Young has agreed personal terms with Ligue 1 champions Lille, according to L’Equipe.
The highly rated forward was widely tipped to leave Monaco after the club were relegated to the second division, but the interested clubs failed to agree a transfer fee with Monaco.
It has now been revealed that Lille have agreed personal terms with the player, having offered him a yearly wage of €1.5 million.
However, les Dogues have yet to agree a transfer fee with Monaco and that could take a while.
Monaco are reportedly holding out for €6 million, but Lille chiefs believe that is too much for a player who will have to return to his homeland in two and a half years to fulfill military service.
Therefore, les Dogues are only prepared to offer €1.5 million for the 26-year-old striker.
