Manchester United midfielder Ji-Sung Park has reiterated his desire to finish his career with the Premier League giants.
The South Korean has endured a difficult campaign after struggling with both fitness and form, the nadir of which came in the title-defining defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.
Despite having just 12 months left on his contract, and having not been offered an extension yet, Park is keen to keep playing for the club.
“I want to retire at United,” he told reporters.
“But what I want does not always translate to reality. I need to rest mentally and physically.
“I want to forget the past and think about what I have to do in the future.”
Park has just finished his seventh season at Old Trafford, after moving to the club from PSV Eindhoven back in 2005.
It was one of his least productive campaigns to date, though, and he made just 17 appearances in the league, finding himself way down the pecking order.
