Serie A strugglers Parma have launched an assault on Southampton striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
I Ducali currently sit deep in the relegation zone and they are in the market for winter reinforcements.
And with Dani Osvaldo no longer in the first team plans of Inter coach Roberto Mancini, Parma aim to try and lure the Italy international to Ennio Tardini.
I Ducali chiefs have already met with the Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio and they hope to persuade their league rivals to cut short Osvaldo’s loan spell so that he could join Parma until the end of the season.
Winning the race for the forward’s signature will be no easy task given that Cagliari, Torino and Genoa are keen as well.
At the same time, Parma will attempt to bring Rene Krhin and Yann M’Vila on loan deals until the end of the current campaign.
