Portuguese A Bola has learned that Parma have been showing interest in Sporting Lisbon forward Valeri Bojinov.
Il Ducali have been very active in the summer transfer window as they hope to continue the recent uptrend in fortunes.
According to A Bola, the Serie A side are set to make an offer for Bulgarian forward Valeri Bojinov, who currently plies his trade at Sporting Lisbon.
The same source has revealed that Parma are prepared to forego the money owed to them by the Portuguese club as well as include two youngsters in the deal.
Seeing as how the Bulgarian is no longer considered an important member of the squad at Estadio Jose Alvalade, chances are an agreement will be reached in the coming days.
It was from Parma that Bojinov arrived at Sporting in the first place, having had scored 11 goals in 61 Serie A matches for il Ducali.
He has largely struggled in Portuguese Primeira Liga and has spent last year and a half on loan spells with Lecce, Hellas Verona and Vicenza.
