Parma sign Antonio Candreva on loan from Udinese

Parma have announced the loan signing of Antonio Candreva from Udinese with an option to buy half of his contract at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old midfielder arrives to Ennio Tardini after unsuccessful loan spell at Juventus but he comes as Udinese player even though he has only played three league games in as many years at Friuli.

Parma were thought to be hot on the trail of Enzo Maresca but they have instead opted for Italy international Candreva, who has already played two games for Azzurri.

The young midfielder is eager to impress at Ennio Tardini and hopefully makes a permanent switch away from Friuli after being mostly farmed out on loan during the last three years.

The Gialloblu have included the option in the deal which will allow them to buy half of Candreva’s contract next summer.
