Parma midfielder Jose Mauri is being linked with a summer move to AC Milan, Tuttosport has suggested.
It is no secret the Rossoneri are in the market for midfield reinforcements and they have been impressed with the 18-year-old footballer.
Milan scouts had the youngster watched on several occasions this season and he has already become one of club’s primary targets for the summer transfer window.
And given the current situation at Parma, there is a good chance Mauri, just like his other teammates, will become a free agent at the end of the season.
The youngster did really well to nail down a regular starting berth at Ennio Tardini, making a total of 20 league appearances and scoring one goal this season.
His suitors AC Milan will be looking to improve the current league position when they host Hellas Verona tomorrow evening, with Pippo Inzaghi’s men 5/9 to emerge victorious.
