Partey in talks with Atletico Madrid

Thomas Parteygent is currently in talks with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid over the possibility of securing a new deal with the club.

The 26-year-old Ghana international has been with Atletico since during his time in the youth team, working his way up to become a featured member of the first team squad from 2015 onwards. There’s been some speculation over the last few years that he may go elsewhere, with city rivals Real Madrid being interested in throwing their name into the hat, but it seems as if he’s more interested in staying where he is.

Atletico have had a mixed season up to this point with Partey featuring fairly regularly, ensuring that it’ll be pretty interesting to see what sort of terms they eventually come to with the contract.

Either way, it doesn’t seem as if he’s going to be leaving anytime soon.
