Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are prepared to reignite interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore and Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Italian media outlet Tuttosport claim that Nerazzuri are determined to invest further in presenting head coach Luciano Spalletti with a team capable of mounting the Scudettlo challenge and that the two aforementioned players have been placed on top of the transfer list.
Inter Milan are currently sitting second in Serie A standings, trailing leaders Napoli by two points after 11 rounds. Nerazzurri play Torino next and can be backed at 1/2 betting odds to win.
Fallen Serie A giants already boost a competitive squad but have thus far been linked with a number of attack-oriented midfielders to complete their front line and defenders to solidify their backbone.
Former Chelsea man Ramires and his Jiangsu Suning teammate Alex Teixeira have both been linked with loan moves this January, but the Italian media are suggesting an alternative idea that could help Spalletti wield his favourite 4-2-3-1 system in full force.
