(GSM) – Milan striker Alexandre Pato has warned Internazionale to look out for the Rossoneri.
Milan moved within four points of league leaders Inter on Wednesday when they beat Fiorentina.
“Now Inter must look behind them, there is Milan,” said a confident Pato.
Asked if he would settle for the Scudetto if Inter won the Champions League instead, the Brazilian replied: “No, I won’t sign for that, because I only look at myself.
“We have to continue on this path, playing to win game-after-game. Yesterday we celebrated with Galliani and Leonardo.”
Looking ahead to this summer’s World Cup in South Africa, the 20-year-old said: “Winning the World Cup with my national team has been my dream since I was a child and I will do everything to convince Dunga to take me to South Africa.”
Finally, Pato backed Inter forward Mario Balotelli who drew criticism for going to watch Milan play Manchester United last week.
“Mario is an exceptional lad. If I had been free, I would have also gone to watch Inter play Chelsea, a great sporting event deserves support, without these dramatisations.
“At least, this is the South American mentality,” he concluded.
