Pato urges Kaka to stay put

AC Milan starlet Alexandre Pato has urged compatriot Kaka to stay put and not join Manchester City.

Reports says the Eastlands side have offered Kaka a deal worth around £500,000 per week.

“His choice has to come from the heart and he has to consider it carefully,” Pato told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“But if I were in his shoes I wouldn’t have any doubts. I would stay put here at Milan because this is his home. I really hope he will keep playing alongside me.”

He added: “My objective is very simple. I want to be the best in the world and to emulate my idol Ronaldo.

“When I was a kid I used to watch him play and try to imitate him. My dream is to achieve what he did at club level and with the Selecao.”
