According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio has made it clear he wants to leave the club this summer.
It comes in the wake of Nuno Espirito Santo leaving his post as manager with multiple players being linked with big moves away from Molineux. Patricio, in particular, has been at the heart of speculation with Roma being the main club interested in his services.
Patricio has spent the last few years establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League but if Wolves think they can get a solid fee for him, they may see no reason why they shouldn’t pursue a sale.
Bruno Lage is set to come into the club as the new boss so you’d imagine any decision regarding Patricio’s future will wait until then, but either way, this looks set to be a very important summer for the future of this football club.
