Sampdoria star striker Patrik Schick could be tempted into moving to the Premier League in the future.
The 21-year-old Czech forward has been making huge strides in the Serie A this season with above-par performances for Sampdoria and the host of Europe’s biggest clubs have already been alerted by his imposing form.
Serie A champions Juventus and rivals Inter Milan were believed to be leading the chase for Sampdoria starlet, but the latest reports have seen Premier League title chasers Chelsea join the pack.
The Blues will send scouts to watch Schick in action this weekend in the derby match against Genoa and the striker himself has commented on the Premier League links in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Schick called the Premier League ‘the best league in the world’ and left the door open for a possible future move to the British Isles.
“The Premier League? Why not,” Schick said.
The 21-year-old Czech international joined Sampdoria at the beginning of the season from Bohemians 1905 and has so far scored 7 goals in 21 Serie A appearances, 5 of which were starts.
