Just after having completed his fiftieth match in charge of Derby County, manager Paul Jewell has announced his resignation.
The forty-four year old Jewell decided after his side’s 0-1 defeat at the hands of Ipswich that it would be in the best interests of the club were he to call it a day.
Currently Derby County is in eighteenth place in the Championship.
