Spanish daily newspaper Marca understands that Barcelona are hot on the trail of Juventus hotshot Paul Pogba.
The Catalans see the Frenchman as a perfect addition to the squad at Camp Nou and they will attempt to lure him to Catalunya as soon as their transfer ban is lifted.
Nevertheless, Barcelona will have to make a considerable effort if they want to sign arguably the world’s most sought-after footballer.
Namely, it is believed that Juventus value the 22-year-old at €100 million, while Pogba’s agents demand a €12 million yearly salary for their client.
This would make the Frenchman the club’s second highest earner after Leo Messi, and could cause dressing room unrest with the likes of Suarez, Neymar and Iniesta all earning less.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will pursue their interest in the highly rated footballer, who could be leaving the Serie A champions as early as this summer.
