Barcelona forward Pedro has suggested that a summer exit may be on the cards due to the lack of first team football at Camp Nou.
The Spain international has lost his place in the side with the arrival of Luis Suarez and he has since been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
And while Pedro is not too disappointed with the current situation, he has made it clear a summer exit is a realistic possibility.
“Every year it’s difficult to get playing time because I’m competing with the best in the world. It’s difficult to be 100 per cent happy, but I feel comfortable,” Pedro told reporters.
“Those who get less minutes want to play. I don’t know if I’ll leave, but I’m happy and I want to stay here. However, I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. We’ll talk at the end of the season.”
Pedro has been linked with a move to English Premier League in the past and the Catalans may be prepared to let him leave with youngsters Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez waiting in the wings.
The 27-year-old has spent his entire career up to date at Barcelona, making 189 league appearances and scoring 56 goals, while winning four La Liga titles in the process. He has also bagged 16 goals in 48 Spain caps.
