Brazil thrashed Peru 5-0 in the final round of the Copa America’s Group A, knocking them out and helping Venezuela reach the next stage of the tournament.

After Casemiro opened the scoring from a 12th-minute scramble, Roberto Firmino took advantage of a real blunder by Peru goalkeeper Pedro Gallese to double the hosts’ lead seven minute later.

Everton Soares, Dani Alves and Willian only added to the Peruvian misery later.
